The Tallie integration automatically sends your NexTravel receipts to Tallie. This provides you with more insight into each expense report.
The steps to get the Tallie integration up and running are:
- Enable the integration
- Configure the integration
- Connect Tallie to each user
- Send receipts to Tallie
You can enable integrations on the Company Settings page
To enable the Tallie integration, click thebutton next to the integration.
Configure the Tallie integration
The Tallie integration has three main configuration options:
1. Manual vs. Automatic Sending
You can specify whether receipts are sent automatically or must be sent manually by the user.
2. When to Send Receipts (only applies if "Automatic" is selected in the first step)
You can specify whether receipts are sent immediately upon purchase or upon completion of travel. You can always send receipts manually from the Trips page.
3. Where to Send Receipts (only applies if "Automatic" is selected in the first step)
You can specify whether the receipt is automatically sent to the purchaser or traveler. When manually sending receipts, you can choose the recipient at that point in time.
Connect Tallie to each user
Each employee's Tallie account can be connected on their User Settings page
Each employee must individually connect their Tallie account to their NexTravel account.
To link the account, click thebutton in the Expensing section of the settings page. You will be prompted to enter your Tallie username and password.
Once the credentials are confirmed, the status of the integration will be updated and you will be able to receive your NexTravel receipts within Tallie.
Send receipts to Tallie
The timing of when receipts are sent and who receives the receipt are both specified in the Tallie configuration.
Please note that receipts are only automatically sent for items where the cost is exact. This is done to prevent inaccurate reporting. You can find the definitive list of scenarios below.
