When selecting rooms on the hotel page you will see various payment terms: “Pay in Full Now”, “Pay at Hotel”, “Pay Deposit”. These options depend on the hotel policy and your company’s preferred payment method.
Pay in Full Now
During checkout, the selected credit card will be immediately charged for the full amount of the hotel reservation. There are two reasons why a hotel room may have this payment requirement. One, it’s a hotel requirement for the particular room rate you selected. Two, your company has a policy in NexTravel that requires all hotel reservations be prepaid on a particular credit card, so that all rooms will be paid in full immediately upon checkout.
Important: Even though the reservation will be paid for upon checkout, the traveler will still need to present a credit card for incidental charges at the hotel check-in. The credit card for incidental charges does not need to be the same card as the one for the reservation.
Pay at Hotel
The credit card information used during checkout will be sent to the hotel as a guaranteed form of payment in case of no shows. The traveler will present a credit card at the hotel check-in to pay for the reservation and incidental charges.
Pay Deposit
Certain hotels require a deposit in order to hold the reservation and the credit card used during checkout will be immediately charged for the amount of the deposit. The deposit will be used towards paying for the reservation. The traveler will present a credit card at the hotel check-in to pay for the remaining amount of the reservation and incidental charges.
