Flights and tickets may be cancelled in one of three ways:
By you or your Organization
Either you or an authorized entity within your organization clicked the Cancel button for the order in NexTravel, or cancelled directly with the airline.
NexTravel will only cancel an order if the travel items require up-front payment and the credit card provided failed to process after multiple attempts.
By the Airline
Airlines may change or cancel a flight for a myriad of reasons. Operational issues, mechanical issues, and weather delays, among other things, can lead to a flight being delayed or cancelled entirely. This in turn can result in a ticket being cancelled.
In some instances, the airline may issue a new ticket under the same reservation in the hours following a cancellation.
If you are unsure why a flight or ticket was cancelled, the best course of action is to contact NexTravel who can provide more insight into the cause of the cancellation and offer solutions. Alternately, it is possible to inquire directly with the airline.
